The main student community of Târgu Mureș, founded in 1990.
The Student League of Târgu Mureș (LSTGM) is a non-profit, socio-professional, and autonomous organization created to defend and promote the rights and interests of students from the University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Târgu Mureș, regardless of gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or political beliefs, using all legal means at its disposal.
LSTGM was founded on March 1, 1990, by a group of students who considered it absolutely necessary to create an organization that would represent their rights and interests.

Projects
Every year, the Student League of Târgu Mureș carries out numerous projects for both the community and students. We bring the most beloved student projects to life: Marisiensis, the international congress for students, young doctors, and pharmacists (Medicine, Military Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, Law, Humanities*), Medifun, the Admission Exam Simulation, and the Summer University for High School Students – all organized by a committee of coordinators from multiple departments and divisions. Additionally, independent projects are organized by specialized departments, such as: Donate Blood, Be a Hero!, Fight for the (H)TA Heart, Little Medics, Medical Education Days, and many more.

National affiliations
At the national level, our affiliations are with FASMR (Federation of Medical Students’ Associations in Romania) and ANOSR (National Association of Student Organizations in Romania).
How do we operate?
The Student League operates in accordance with the Statute, the Internal Regulations (ROI), and the Organization and Functioning Regulations (ROF). You can find all the documents here.
At the beginning of each academic year, new students are recruited into LSTGM. Volunteers can register on the dedicated member platform, pay the annual membership fee of 10 RON, and collect their membership card according to the schedule published on official social media channels and the website.
The Executive Office (Board of Directors) of the Student League includes the following positions: President, General Secretary, Financial Vice-President, Internal Relations Vice-President, External Relations Vice-President, Educational Vice-President for Medical Sciences, Educational Vice-President for Science and Technology. The permanent committees within LSTGM number 6, as follows: Permanent Committee for Human Rights and Peace (SCORP), Permanent Committee for Medical Education (SCOME), Permanent Committee for Public Health (SCOPH), Permanent Committee for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, including HIV and AIDS (SCORA), Permanent Committee for International Research Exchanges (SCORE), Permanent Committee for International Professional Exchanges (SCOPE).
